About the Chef

Magic Apron Person Chef Service was created in November 2006 by Chef Scott Sprecher. Chef Scott's mission is to help busy families and individuals save time by cooking healthy, wholesome cuisine that they can enjoy in the comfort of their own home.

After high school graduation, Chef Scott went on to MATC to hone his culinary skills. While in school, he competed in many competitions. He went on to place 3rd in MATC'S Decorative Foods Show. He also placed 3rd in a regional Technical College cooking competition. His final accomplishment was as a recipient of a scholarship given to him by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.

While attending MATC, he continued to hone his culinary skills by working for several restaurants and establishments in the Madison area. He started as a chef at the Holiday Inn West, now known as the Marriott Convention Center. Quivey's Grove as a line chef, Fitzgerald's of Middleton as a Assistant Kitchen Manager and most recently at Blue Plate Catering as a chef/route manager.

Through his extensive experience, about eighteen years, in the food service industry, he has developed a passion for food and customer service. His business is geared towards working families and busy professionals with busy lifestyles and hectic schedules who don't have time to cook, are tired of eating out all the time or people who just want to eat healthier.
